New First-Year Students
Applying for Georgia Tech housing is simple. Complete the online application, select your preferences, and meet the deadline.
Housing is not first-come, first-served—eligible first-year students receive a random room selection time ticket.
New Transfer Students
Georgia Tech reserves housing for transfer students, with assignments determined by a lottery.
Apply by the deadline to be eligible for the academic year. Summer and spring-only housing is offered first come, first served.
New Graduate Students
Admitted graduate students may apply for housing once processed by Graduate Admissions.
Apply by the deadline to be eligible for the academic year housing lottery. Starting in 2025–26, graduate housing is limited to one academic year and one summer contract. Family housing options are available.
