Senior Director of Facilities for Housing and Residence Life

We are now accepting applications for the Senior Director of Facilities for Housing and Residence Life (HRL). This senior leadership role is critical to advancing the planning, operation, and long-term care of our residential facilities in support of student success and institutional priorities.

The Senior Director of Facilities provides strategic and operational leadership for facilities management within Housing and Residence Life, overseeing maintenance, renewal, capital coordination, and facilities-related services across the residential portfolio. The role works closely with campus partners to ensure safe, reliable, and forward-looking residential environments for students, staff, and guests.

A/C Mechanic

Job Summary: Perform basic installation and maintenance of components used in campus heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and related equipment, including chilled water, refrigeration, air compressors, gas heater, air drier, fume hoods, and pumps.  Assignments typically require HVAC journeyman-level skills. This position will interact with maintenance supervision and staff, building managers, and vendors.

Plumber I

Job Summary: Inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain plumbing and piping systems and support equipment.  Systems include sewer and domestic water, natural gas, and hot water reheat or chilled water.  Determine the sequence of tasks required for a specific assignment and perform necessary operations and maintenance functions.  May be required to coordinate services of contractor personnel as well as provide work direction regarding plumbing systems to maintenance personnel and others.  When working in a multi-craft environment, may be directed to assist others in non-plumbing-related duties.

Maintenance Worker II

Perform building-related basic construction and fabrication work. This position will interact on a consistent basis with the area maintenance staff and contactors.

Plumber II
