The experience of contributing to the GT Campus Community as an RA takes on average 12 hours per week, is a Fall and Spring, one year position and is super fulfilling if you are selected.

  • RA applications for this academic year, 2023-2024 are closed and we have an alternate pool.  
  • The RA applications for the 2024-25 Academic Year will be open from October 31, 2023 at 8:00 a.m. until 11:59 pm December 6, 2023 and can be accessed via MyHousing.

If you want to learn more about being an RA, the Hall Directors are hosting six open houses where you can meet them, chat with current RAs and ask your questions in person!

Please know the RA position is a unique leadership opportunity that is very competitive. We anticipate cutting 20% of applicants based on the application so please take your time and be thorough when answering the essays. We will them make additional cuts based on the on-line interviews to build our team of 244 RAs and a deep unranked alternate pool.

If you apply and are offered an interview, the invitation to sign-up for the interview will be emailed on January 12, 2024 as a bcc invite from the staffselection@housing.gatech.edu email account to your GT email address.
