We know extenuating circumstances can arise when planning for your move-in. If you cannot move in during the official move-in days listed here, please follow the instructions below.
Summer and Fall Move-In Dates
If you arrive after the Area Offices are closed, you are considered an "After-Hours Check-In" and should follow the instructions below.
If you arrive after office hours, call the duty Resident Assistant number located on all exterior doors of your residence hall. They will open your assigned room for you, and you will pick-up your keys at your area office the following day during office hours.
You can make or change your move-in appointment by logging into your My Housing portal and viewing the confirmation page of your application.
If you plan to arrive after the first day of classes, call the Central Housing Office at 404-894-2470 or email your name, gtID#, and estimated time of arrival to firstname.lastname@example.org. Unless we know that you do plan to check into your room late, it is possible that you would be declared a no-show and your room given to another student.
