Imagine a place where you can drop off your children at school or day care, report for classes or work, grab lunch with a few friends, pick up the kids, and come home to a cheerful, modern apartment. You can do all of these things within a mile of each other from our Tenth & Home housing complex.
This residence is the ultimate on-campus housing for families. Conveniently located off of 10th Street on the Georgia Tech campus, Tenth & Home offers the best of both worlds--the accessibility and ease of on-campus living with the comfort and privacy of luxury apartment-style living.
Our buildings offer one or two bedroom unfurnished apartments as well as gated on-site parking available through Georgia Tech Parking and Transportation. All utilities, high-speed Internet access, premium cable television and associated program fees are included in the monthly rent. There is an enclosed courtyard with picnic areas and a child-friendly playground. Also, the Children's Campus @ Georgia Tech is a new daycare center available for infants through kindergarten prep.
Georgia Tech housing is for enrolled students only. We do not provide housing for faculty or staff and/or their families.
To be eligible to live in Tenth and Home Family Housing Apartments, a student must ...
- be currently enrolled or admitted to Georgia Institute of Technology for the semester housing is requested
- be married and/or a single parent (have legal custody of a dependent a child, or children)
- have domestic partnership verified by the Office of the Dean of Students
- be a single graduate student
The Application Process
Family housing apartment assignments are made in order of the date of completed application based on availability. There is no guarantee deadline.
About the application
The application for
housing is completely on-line. In order to complete the application you
must make a $600 prepayment--which incorporates our one-time only $80
application fee for new applicants. By applying you are signing the online housing contract and agreeing to all terms.
Once you have completed the online application with your supporting documentation, the Department of Housing will e-mail you. We do our best to assign residents to their preferred building as availability allows, however we cannot guarantee that you will be assigned to your preferred building choice. In the event that your desired space is not available, we will assign you to the next available unit. Contracts are not terminated if desired space or style is unavailable.

is an on-line system where students that have been admitted to the Georgia Institute of
Technology can complete the online housing application.
How do I make the prepayment?
- Activate your student account (Skip this step, if you have already done this.)
- Login to Buzzport
- Click on the icon that says Pay Your Admission and Housing Deposit or Housing Pay Now
- Click on eDeposits (at the very top of the page)
- Select the appropriate Term
- Select "(Fall, Spring, Summer) Family Housing Prepay"
- Continue Payment Process as directed
- Complete the Housing Application at "My Housing"
How to submit supporting documentation?The supporting documents may be directly uploaded to the housing application. All documents must be in English. If originally in another language the document must be translated to English by a certified translator.
What if I want to cancel my application, or my room assignment?
If at any point you no longer want housing or decide not to attend Ga. Tech, immediately log into My Housing and cancel your housing! You will be subject to our Cancellation Policy.
How will GT Housing contact you?
Your official Georgia
Tech e-mail address will serve as our point of contact with you.
However, keep in mind room and roommate information will only be
available via My Housing.
