Staff and Community Development

The Staff and Community Development office is a unit of the Residence Life Department formed to run processes and programs of Residence Life  which enhance the experiences of our student and professional staff and our residents.  These areas include, but are not limited to, Conduct, Leadership and Advising, Assessment and Research, and Training and Development as well as Academic Initiatives.

Mission Statement
The Staff & Community Development Office believes in keeping students at the center of our work.  We create learning-centered environments by providing internal consultation to students and staff while fostering realtionships and connections with campus partners.

As internal consultants we:

-  Create and evaluate standardized departmental processes
-  Train, advise, and provide resources
-  Problem solve and recommend direction
-  Collect, analyze, and communicate trends
